The AL-9161S-N is PetaStor's innovative 6Gb/s SAS host RAID subsystem, utilizing two miniSAS 4 x 6Gb/s SAS for host connectivity in a 3U 16-bay chassis supporting 6Gb/s SAS or SATA drives. Alnico 9 Series 6Gb SAS to SAS RAID subsystem is supporting single controller mode and not able to upgrade to support dual & redundant controller mode.

With JBOD enclosures ( SAS 2.0 Expander) supporting up to 122 SAS/SATA devices connected, Alnico 9 is scalable to provide over two hundred terabyte gigantic storage capacity without performance sacrifice.

Alnico 9 Series is PetaStor's revolutionary product with breakthrough performance over previous Alnico RAID Series. Driven by new generation storage processor, Alnico 9 RAID Series is capable of delivering more than 1,800 Mb/s data throughput by a single RAID controller that is two to three times better than any other Alnico Series can achieve.
